Beautiful example of the classic 3 seat sofa designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia, model 2213. Sides, back and loose cushions upholstered with black patinated leather. Solid nutwood legs. Seat cushions with foam, side and back cushions with down. Designed 1962. Manufactured by Fredericia Stolefabrik late 1960´s, serial number 767.
Børge Mogensen designed this sofa in 1962 for his home in Gentofte north of Copenhagen, where it still stands, placed between the two tables that dictated the measurements of the sofa.The sofa is today the most iconic Danish design sofa of all times. Outstanding quality and very comfortable for every day use.
Very good original condition. Normal patina due to age and use.
